Soak choley over night..drain it in the morning,keep aside.now heat up oil in a cooker,add cumin seeds,let it splutter,then add 1finely chopped onion,2sliced green chillies,add salt so that onion cooks faster,saute them on medium heat for 2-3 minutes,then add 1tsp ginger garlic paste,saute on low heat until you get good aroma

Now add onion and tomato puree,using tomatoes prevents separation of water in your gravy,stir& Cook until mixture becomes thicker and tomatoes blend well with onions,now add red chilli powder,garam masala,coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt required

Stir well&Cook masala until you get good aroma now add drained chana/choley..give it a good mix..add 1/2cup water..or water as required for thick gravy,cover lid get 7-8 whistles,when pressure releases,open the lid..add chopped coriander leaves..serve with rice/roti/Naan.. squeeze some lime juice serve with raw onions...
