Meatballs in mushroom cream sauce

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare all the ingredients for meatballs, 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic, peel and finely chop,
- 2
Add minced meat (I have pork), one egg, breadcrumbs (I have two slices of bread), salt, pepper, a little seasoning for meat, finely chopped onion and garlic into the container.
- 3
- 4
Mix everything well with your hands and form small balls. And be sure to let it brew for a couple of minutes until the breadcrumbs swell, then there will be a beautiful shape.
- 5
Pour olive oil into a frying pan, heat up and fry the meatballs until cooked on all sides.
- 6
In a larger frying pan, pour olive oil, add butter, heat well and add the onion, fry until golden brown, and only then add the mushrooms and fry until golden brown too.
- 7
- 8
When the mushrooms are ready, pour in the cream, add grated garlic, add salt and Italian herbs and herbs, in my case dill. Then mix and add meatballs, simmer under the lid for 10 minutes and you're done.

I wanted to make something tasty and savory that would only use one pan! I love cooking but I don't really love washing the dishes. This recipe will yield about 15-16 meatballs. You can replace the mild homemade rub with salt and black pepper. Angela Mertoyono -

Both methods produce a lighter tasting meatball; still meaty enough to satisfy the dedicated carnivore but not so meaty they overwhelm.I did a fun experiment and did 6 in the sauce and 6 in a muffin tin. Let your taste buds or your family/guests decide which method they like best! Katherine -

I'm pretty sure that my ability to cook is one of the keys to my marriage. In fact, I'm not 100% certain my wife would've agreed to marry me if it weren't for my passion for food and cooking. Still, that doesn't mean she doesn't occasionally have her doubts. Like when I told her I was going to make meatballs with tomato and coconut sauce for dinner. At first she assumed it'd be a curry, and when I told her it wouldn't be she simply said "it sounds a little weird." Fortunately the dish worked out (pretty brilliantly, actually), and both she and our daughter are believers once again. Robert Gonzal -
