Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 2.2 lbstomatillos (about 1 kg)
  • 1/4onion
  • 1 sprigcilantro
  • 2medium garlic cloves
  • 1serrano pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chicken bouillon, to taste
  • As needed, sour cream and cheese

    For the green sauce, blend the tomatillos with 1/4 onion, the serrano pepper, garlic cloves, chicken bouillon, and cilantro.

  2. 2

    Pour the blended mixture into a pot and heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly.

  3. 3

    Heat oil and lightly fry the tortillas. Cover them with the green sauce, fill with some chicken, and garnish with a bit of onion, cheese, and sour cream.
