Bring a pot of water to a boil.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5 minutes. But here we have no pork so the image won't show it. If you don't have pork, add the noodles.

Put the noodles into a small bowl. Add 2 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1/2 cups of chicken broth, and anchovy. Stir to combine. But here we used some other stuff, so it might not be what it looks like in reality.

Add the oil. Crack the egg into a skillet. Cook until the egg is set on the bottom, then flip it over and cook for another minute until the egg is done.

Place the fried egg on top of the noodles. You have finished the noodles. You can serve this as dry Banmian, or you can make pork bone and dried mushrooms soup to accompany it.
