Rinse strawberries thoroughly with water. Cut into pieces.

In a blender, add strawberry slices and make a smooth paste. Collect the strawberry paste in a nonstick pan. Add sugar.

Cook in medium flame under constant stirring till it becomes thick in texture.

Switch off the burner. Transfer into a sterile glass bottle. Remove bubbles if any by gently tapping the bottle.

Once the prepared spread comes to room temperature, close the bottle with lid tightly and keep it inside refrigerator for future use.

Note: Here I have not used any food colour or preservative.
