Christmas Tree Hamburger Steak

I shaped a normal round hamburger steak into a tree for Christmas. The leaves are made from spinach, so you can eat a lot of vegetables!
When making the tree shape, use a pencil or something to draw a rough sketch. Doing so makes it easy to match the shapes. In Step 4, when pouring the white sauce, lightly pour it so that it doesn't completely cover the bottom. When mixing the white sauce, it can become cloudy. Because there is only a small amount of cream used, you can substitute with coffee creamers. For 4 servings. Recipe by Akito mama

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mince the onion and saute in a frying pan until light brown. Let cool and set aside. Soak the panko in milk and set aside. Cut the yellow pepper into a star and flower. Cut the red pepper into flowers. Cut the remaining pieces of pepper into 5 mm squares.

In a bowl, add the minced meat, onion, egg, panko, nutmeg, black pepper, and salt. Knead well until it becomes sticky. Place the meat on top of a piece of parchment paper and form into a tree. In an oven preheated to 200˚C, bake for 20-30 minutes.
- 3
Quickly blanch the spinach in salted water and cool in water. Wring the excess water and chop finely. Melt butter in a frying pan and cook the spinach. Add nutmeg and salt and pepper for seasoning. Add heavy cream and mix.
- 4
Pour the white sauce into a plate. Place the hamburger from Step 2 onto the plate. Combine ketchup and Worcestershire-style sauce and coat the burger. Next cover with the spinach leaves from Step 3. Decorate with the cut peppers. Sprinkle the peppers that were cut into shapes over the white sauce.

My child doesn't eat so much so I wanted to make a meat dish that my child would love! You can make it with the things you already have at home and kids and also adults like it. It is even a big hit when you serve it to guests! It looks like there are many things to do but I just wrote it down in detail, so the process itself is easy! My homemade hamburger is with bread crumbs, stir fried onions and with lots of milk so it becomes soft. But there are also things to make the hamburger to stick so don't worry. Taste it and add water if it is too strong. Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan -

I took tips from various recipes as reference, and came up with my own version![Tip 1] Knead the meat in 2 batches, kneading it the first time until the meat becomes fluffy.[Tip 2] Make sure to thoroughly remove trapped air pockets when molding the patties (or else they will break apart when cooking).[Tip 3] Pour boiling water into the pan to prevent the temperature of the pan from dropping. For 2 servings (3 hamburgers). Recipe by Annakarenina cookpad.japan -

Once again, this recipe normally calls for finely chopped onions, but since Mrs Wyrm finds them to have an unpleasant flavour after our suspected COVID-19 infection I've omitted them, along with the more elaborate spices I'd normally add. Finely chop one medium onion, sauté, let it cool, and mix it with the ground meats if you want to add it. 🇯🇵 蛟龍Stormwyrm
