Easy Flan
This recipe is for my 10" flan boiler, remove 1 egg if boiler is 8"
Cooking Instructions

Heat sugar or syrup and sugar mixture in saucepan until almost taffy like, then pour into boiler pan and let harden - alternatively, just heat sugar directly in boiler pan. mixture should have a hard shell once cooled.

As sugar cools, blend remaining ingredients in blender and pulse for about 30-60 seconds then pour mixture over hardened sugar mix.

Lock boiler and place in large pot with enough boiling water to fill up to ½ way up filled boiler. Tip: place a couple knives or crab pliers on bottom to keep boiler away from bottom of pot. This is a poor man's double boiler 😄

Boil for 30 mins. Remove boiler from pot and let cool completely.

Once cooled, scrap around edge of finished flan and turn upside down on chosen plate. Serve
