Steamed Chicken Momos

Momos are originally from Tibet (Nepal) and they are similar to Chinese Dumplings 🥟 locally called “ Baozi” and “Jiaozi”. Japanese “Gyoza”, Korean “ Mandu” and Turkic “Manti”.

So traditionally it uses a lot of yak meat but generally chicken mince is used in it.

There are 3 different ways to make momos.. Originally it is steamed, then comes the shallow fried+ steamed method and finally the deep fried one ( which will totally change the original taste and texture of-course)

In this recipe I am sharing with you the traditional steamed method.
