This is a Chinese-style variation of standard teriyaki with my favorite sesame oil and oyster sauce.

This is a Chinese-style variation of standard teriyaki with my favorite sesame oil and oyster sauce.

Combine all of the ★ ingredients in a pot. Add the chicken skin down, cover, and cook over medium heat.

Once the sauce bubbles, reduce to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Turn over and simmer for another 10 minutes. For the final step, increase the heat until it boils. Top with sesame oil and it's complete. Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve.
