Crispy Soyabean fry

Soya chunks fry is one of the famous and yummy snacks for kids and an excellent snack forbegetarians.
Soya Nuggets (Soya Chunks) are one of the greatest meat substitutes. It has a high protein level, surpassing eggs, meat, and milk. Soya beans are reported to help with blood sugar regulation, cholesterol reduction, bowl regulation, and constipation relief.

In a mixing bow add lukewarm water. Add soya chunks or nuggets in it & soak for 15 min.

After 15 min the nuggets are soaked well. Squeeze off excess water from soyabean chunks. Keep them in separate bowl.

In the squeezed soyabean, add all spices like curd, red chili powder, dhanya jeera powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala etc. you can add soya sauce or any sauce as you desire. Add coriander if you like.

Combine & mix all together. The chunks should be get coated with all spices well. Keep this aside for at least 15-20 min. for marination. However, in this case I refrigerated these chunks for about 2 hours. So minimum 15-20 marination is required. After marination add rice flour 2 tsp & cornflour 1 tsp into marinated chunks. Again mix flours well with the chunks for 5 min. Now Chunks are ready to fry. You can use maida or gram flour instead of rice flour.

Heat oil in a pan. Drop each soyabean chunk seperately into oil. Stir chunks continuously so as to get well fried. Fry on medium flame until it turns light golden in colour. Take it out on non absorbant paper. Crispy soya chunks are ready. Serve hot with tomato sauces
& a hot cup of tea.☕ - 6
This is good snack for kids. It tastes spicy inside & crunchy outside.
