Ingredients

1 cup

1 Tablespoonwhite vinegar (or lemon juice)
1 cupmilk (or heavy cream)

Pour the tablespoon of vinegar or lemon into a 1 cup measurer.

Fill the rest of the 1 cup measurer with whole milk (or heavy cream).

Gently stir and let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes. This will allow the milk to slightly curdle, giving it a buttermilk-like texture and taste.

Thank you, Minda! You can also make buttermilk if you only have whipping cream at home. I posted a recipe here a while back.
