Tropical Cake with Pineapple & Coconut Tropical Cake with Pineapple & Coconut
I had some leftover pineapple, so I thought I'd use some to make a cake. I wanted to add a lot of pineapple to the batter, so I decided to use a pan that would allow me to bake a thin tart in order to bake it all the way through.I didn't want it to be too dry, so I added some almond flour to it.This is a cake that just requires mixing, so I think it's easy to make. If you can't get fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple.Chill it in the refrigerator, then cut. That way, you can cleanly cut it without worrying about it crumbling. Try to bring it back to room temperature before serving it, though. You'll be surprised by how it's so soft and moist! Recipe by Marimo1016 cookpad.japan -
Vegan Pineapple Ripple Ice Cream Vegan Pineapple Ripple Ice Cream
I got the idea for this ice cream from Gemma Stafford of Bigger Bolder Baking on YouTube. You can also use homemade coconut milk. The measurement is the milk from 3 large coconuts. Pour the coconut milk in cups, cover and leave in the fridge for about 2 days. The cream would have seperated from the water, spoon the cream from the top and refrigerate the cream overnight then it is ready to use. Ellen_A3 -
Coconut & Pineapple Tropical Gelato Coconut & Pineapple Tropical Gelato
I knew the combination of coconuts and pineapples wouldn't be a mistake, so that's why I tried making this recipe. Using fresh pineapples gives it a crisp, refreshing flavor. Since you're only using a minimal amount of sugar, the gelato doesn't taste excessively sweet even with coconut milk. Rather, it tastes quite refreshing.Only use a modest amount of sugar since want to bring out the natural sweetness of the coconut milk... Enjoy the amazing combination of tart fresh pineapples and coconut. You might not need any sugar when using canned pineapples, but discard as much syrup as possible for best results. Banana, Pineapple, & Coconut Cupcakes Banana, Pineapple, & Coconut Cupcakes
Made these for a summer party, wanting something light and fresh and fruity. I ended up winging the batter and it came out absolutely amazing (super moist, dense, and sweet and vanilla but not overpowering). I decorated them with the perfect amount of icing, and was shocked at how all the flavors combined so well! I will definitely make these again!!! gabriellam -
