A pickle made during the summer season that goes well with curd rice.
Steps

Wash wipe clean the mangoes. Add salt.Cover and keep.

Every day shake the vessel so that salt mixes well. REPEAT this step two three times a day for three days.

Powder the mustard seeds and keep ready red chillies powder.

Mix both to the mangoes. By now the mangoes would be shrunk.

Your vadumanga or mango pickle is ready. DAILY mix well and ensure mangoes are inside the solution.

Wait till the mangoes turn soft. COVER the bottle with a cloth to ensure it does not catch fungus.
