Super simple Paneer Rice

Absolutely simple recipe, which works best for a quick wholesome mini meal or when you don’t feel like cook much for dinner or when you are clueless about what to pack for kids’ snack box.
It’s also a good way to use your left over rice.
The dish tastes so good in itself that you don’t need to prepare a side, tomato ketchup does the best job.

Steps
- 1
Heat butter in the pan, add chopped onions, once cooked, add the diced paneer and keep frying in low flame until the paneer edges turn slightly golden.
- 2
Now add the cooked rice, salt, black pepper and give a gentle mix. Switch off the flame and add roasted cumin powder and lemon juice. Again just lightly mix everything.
- 3
Lastly sprinkle chilli flakes and oregano and cover few minutes for the rice to absorb all the aromas.
