Brussels sprouts or little Cabbage or baby Cabbage as it's commonly known as in the Country is a member of Cabbage family. Rich in Vitamin C and K thereby increasing the body immunity. They also contains antioxidants that help in promoting Iron absorption and repairs tissue damage too. This simple fry is way too flavourful and aromatic with that amazing crunch of Peanuts.
An easy one pot dish for any day by me made in a pan that too in a jiffy. This Vegetarian dish can be relished with both Rice and Rotis. Made with easily available pantry staples, this is one of the most simplest dish too. Almost every Week, I do make it a point to go with one for mealtimes especially on a Weekend or even for the Lunchbox as long as it's available.
Though the preparation process might seem too simple or easy, what matters is the taste. And it does taste yum. The best part is that it gets done quickly too. Absolutely delicious to the last bite. This dish is for keepsake. You will love it every bit and would want to make it more and more.
This one is my family's favourite. Try it out and experience it's unique taste and texture for yourselves.

In a pan, heat some oil and add the ginger garlic green chilli paste. Saute it for a few seconds and then add in the cumin seeds and asafoetida as well. Also add in coarsely crushed peanuts. Saute all of that for 2-3 minutes and then finally add in the halved brussels sprouts.

Also add all the powdered spices too. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10-12 minutes. Do not add too much of water. Add a little to facilitate easy cooking of them. It will be done easily. If desired cook it for a little longer duration if required. Otherwise, it is done in about 20 to 25 minutes in all.
