First soak basmati rice for 15 minutes.

Then heat the cooker pour one serving spoon ghee or butter then add cumin seeds,black pepper powder,bay leaves,cardamom,clove and coriander,cumin powder.
Roast it nicely. - 3
Then add soaked rice and mix it nicely. Roast three minutes then add water,salt and close the lid of cooker. Cook upto two whistle in sim flame then turn off the gas.

Now after five minutes,open the lid of cooker and serve it with paneer masala.
