Heat the oven at 180°C and line a loaf tin with parchment paper. Set aside
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. - 2
Add the egg one by one and beat till incorporated.
Add vanilla extract, and gently fold in the flour+ground almonds and baking powder. - 3
Reserving a few cherries and almonds. Fold in the cherries & mix fruits add the milk. Pour the batter into the prepared tin. Add the rest of the cherries and almond flakes.

Bake at 160°C for 60minutes or till the toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool completely glaze cake with warm honey with brush then slicing and serving
