Pad Thai: Thai-style Stir fried Noodles Pad Thai: Thai-style Stir fried Noodles
I watch the people in the food courts of Bangkok and Singapore make this so quickly and skillfully with amazement.I've cut down on the spice. If you like it spicy, add some Thai chili pepper powder or chili flakes at Step 3, or serve the noodles with some chili powder on the side. Mix it in as you eat!Rehydrate the sen lek (Thai rice noodles) following the package instructions. If you use boiling water the noodles will melt so be careful. It's safest to rehydrate them in cold water for 2 to 3 hours, even though it takes time.Work through Steps 2 to 4 in one go. Speed is of the essence during these stages!Serve the noodles with raw Chinese chives and bean sprouts to make this even more authentic! For 2 servings. Recipe by Koyokkoyo cookpad.japan -
Thai-Style Stir-Fried Udon Noodles Thai-Style Stir-Fried Udon Noodles
I made some stir fried udon when I was visiting friends in Bangkok. They were out of soy sauce so I tried using Thai fish sauce instead. Although people in Bangkok use limes, lemon is a fine substitute. Now I'm very fond of stir fried udon with nam pla.Microwave the udon noodles briefly to warm them up, and untangle them in advance. If you are using frozen noodles, rinse them in water to get rid of any surface stickiness. If you add some fresh coriander, it will taste more like Thai cooking!I recommend adding cherry tomatoes. For 1 serving. Recipe by Wanko mama cookpad.japan -

Pancit Sotanghon Guisado is a savory Filipino noodle dish made with sotanghon (glass noodles) stir-fried with a flavorful blend of garlic, onions, soy sauce, and aromatic spices. Often loaded with shredded chicken, sliced vegetables, and sometimes shrimp or mushrooms, this dish offers a delicious balance of textures and umami-rich taste. The noodles soak up the savory sauce beautifully, giving each bite a burst of flavor.
