Stir in ghee and salt as required in the fox nuts or makhana. It is absolutely one's own choice to use them as per one's own liking.

Spread on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven on 200° for about 25-30 minutes. Keep tossing and turning in between two to three times to ensure that they are roasted well and not burnt.

It's very important to do so. And not only that, while roasting it is important to keep a vigilant eye on the oven prior to 5 minutes of the timer that has been set. It is because within just matter of seconds, they get done. And if not kept a check, they will be burnt. So please be careful during the last 5 minutes of baking.
