Ingredients

22 minutes
2 servings
  • 2 cupsboiled noodles
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped spring onions
  • 1/2 cupcarrot julie
  • 2 tspfinely chopped garlic (lehsun)
  • 1/4 cupshredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cupthinly sliced capsicum
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pinchblack peppercorns (kalimirch) powder
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped spring onion greens
  • Chilli oil

Steps

22 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a wok, add the spring onion whites, garlic and red chillies and sauté on a high flame for 30 seconds.

  2. 2

    Add the carrots, cabbage, capsicum and sauté on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the noodles, soya sauce and salt, mix well and toss on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the black pepper powder and chilli oil and toss well.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle spring onion greens and toss well.

    Serve the hakka noodles immediately.
