Pyaj patta with chana dal (Onion leaves with split chickpeas)

Soak and boil the chana dal, keep aside. Clean, remove the bulbs, chop the greens and bulbs separately.

Heat oil, add cumin seeds, red chilli, onion bulbs and garlic. Sauté till onion and garlic are fried. Then add the boiled chana dal. Fry for few minutes.

Now add the chopped greens and salt, give a good mix, cook in medium flame until it cooked completely.
