Tortellini Soup in a Crockpot

When I was AU my next-door neighbor's grandmother used to visit often and give us food. I liked this soup so much, I begged her for the recipe. When I asked about this crock pot meal, she only said "she got it from some fancy food show"

Ingredients

5-6 hours
4 servings
  1. 5Spicy Italian Turkey Sausage Links
  2. 1 containercream cheese
  3. 2 cansdiced tomatoes with chilies
  4. 4 cupsveggie broth
  5. 1 bagfresh spinach
  6. 1 bagfrozen tortellini pasta with cheese (unthawed)
  7. Freshly shaved Parm cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Heat 4 cups of water and mix in 4 veggie Boullion cubes.

    While the cubes are melting, cut the casting off your sausage links. Cook in a skillet or hot pan until now longer pink.

    Once your meat is cooked, place in the bottom of a slow cooker. Then add cream cheese and vegetable broth.

    Next, add in your two cans of diced tomatoes with chilies. The mixture might appear pink at first, but this color fades.

    Stir the mixture and then set crock pot too low for about 4-5 hours depending on how hot your crockpot runs.

    After 4-5 hours stir you soup then add frozen tortellini pasta.

    Next step is you want to add your bag of spinach.

    Keep on low for about another 45 minutes then stir.

    Add shredded parm to the top of each bowl and mix around.
