To make idli
Soak the rice separately in plenty of water, about 10c,
Soak add fenugreek along with urad in plenty of water, about 5c separately. Soak sabudana separately in 4c of water. Soak for 8 hours. I soaked it overnight,

Grease the wells of idli plate. Pour about ½ c of batter in each well. Assemble the idli plates on the stand. Use a steam cooker. Add enough water for steam generation, Idli plates should be. above the water at least 2inch. Use HIGH FLAME. Let the water come to boil; then place the idli stand in the cooker. Cover and cook. You can smell the cooked idlies Turn off the heat. remove the stand from the cooker; let it cool.

Transfer the idlies to a serving bowl or plate. Serve with sambar, idli chili powder, or your favorite chutney. I love to eat idlies with idli chili powder I specially make at home Sridhar likes to eat with sambar and chutney. Enjoy the healthy soft idlies
