Steps
- 1
Firstly boil water when it’s very hot off the flame burner in a bowl add jowar flour using the black side of the spoon add hot water in bowl as required just to get the crumbled texture stop adding water
- 2
While it’s manageable to touch remove the spoon & add the crumbled flour on a pastry mat further knead the dough using your palm by pressing it long in strips way then gather it & gradually by kneading it turns soft without cracks prepare 2-3 balls next generously add flour & take one ball
- 3
Spread it using our palms & fingers using the flour on mat once it’s done carefully add it on very hot griddle (tawa) that’s on high flame burner then immediately brush the top side of roti with water to avoid cracks let it cook for few seconds then carefully flip it now cook on medium flame burner for 1-2 minutes once it starts puffing up naturally check all sides if it’s cooked completely remove it.!
- 4
Gradually prepare all in similar fashion our delicious jawar roti is ready to serve hot.it can be accompanied by dal mash, egg burji or bhindi fry..!
