Steps
- 1
Line a cutting board with parchment paper and place the puff pastry on top. Let it sit for 10 minutes until it's half thawed.
- 2
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough. Place the pastry sheets between parchment paper so that it won't stick.
- 3
Brush the puff pastry with milk and sprinkle cocoa powder, coconut flakes and granulated sugar.
- 4
I used one stick of granulated sugar per sheet.
- 5
Roll the dough towards the center from the both sides. Wrap with plastic wrap and rest in the refrigerator for more than 30 minutes.
- 6
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Slice each into 8 slices and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Sprinkle granulated sugar on top.
- 7
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, and it's done! Add walnuts if you like.
