Ingredients

40-45 minutes
3-4 people
  1. 1 bowlsprouted ragi
  2. 1/4 bowlmung
  3. 1/4 bowlMasoor dal
  4. 1/2 bowlrice
  5. 3-4 tbsgreen chili,ginger and garlic paste
  6. 1/2 bowlchopped onion
  7. 1/4 bowlchopped tomato
  8. 1/4 bowlgreen peas
  9. 1/4 bowlchopped beans
  10. 1/4 bowlchopped carrot
  11. 1 tbsghee
  12. 1 tbsoil
  13. 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  14. 1/4 tspmustard sheeds
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 1cinnemon
  17. 3-4cloves
  18. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  19. Salt as per test
  20. 1/4 tspkitchen king masala
  21. 1 tbskasuri fenugreek
  22. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  23. 1/4 bowlcoriander

Steps

40-45 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all wash masoor dal,rice and mung and soak for 2 hours.

    Keep the soaked mung,rice and masoor dal in a pressure cooker with 3 bowls of water, add turmeric and little salt according to the test and make khichdi.

    Now take oil and ghee in a pan now add mustard sheeds, cumin seeds to it, now add cloves,bay leaf and cinnamon to it.Saute onion for 2 minutes then add green chili, ginger and garlic paste.Saute for 1 minute.

    Now add carrot,green peas, beans and sprouted ragi to it.Add turmeric powder and little salt to it, add 1 bowl of water, cover it and let it to cook.

    After 7-8 minutes, when the vegetable are cooked,add tomato and the prepared khichdi to it. Mix it. Now add garam masala, kitchen king masala and coriander.Covered for 1 minutes.

    Serve hot khichdi with ghee.
