This is something I make when daikon radish is on sale.

The only seasoning needed is soy sauce. If the daikon radish is too pungent, sprinkle with vinegar, and let it sit (for about 30 minutes to about an hour). The bitterness will pretty much disappear. Recipe by Pukuttopukumaru

Ingredients

  • 1Komatsuna
  • 10 cmGrated daikon radish
  • 1Soy sauce (preferably usukuchi)
  • 1splash Vinegar (to use if the daikon radish is too spicy)

Steps

  1. 1

    Parboil the komatsuna (or microwave until tender). Squeeze out the excess water, then cut into 2-3 cm lengths.

  2. 2

    Grate the daikon radish.

    Combine the komatsuna with the grated daikon, and mix in soy sauce.
