Grapefruit is a tangy Fruit with an abundance of Vitamin C. In this particular tangy and sweet or Khatti and Meethi Chutney, I have used some simple ingredients along with a little of Jaggery. That's it. As easy as that. Simple yet elegant and a healthy one for mealtimes.
Meals are often incomplete without a Chutney or a Pickle in our Country. And this one is a perfect choice. No hassle version. Irresistible and a delicious one made with a Fruit full of goodness and nutrition and is at your disposal in no time at all.
And not only that, it tastes awesome with Rotis and Parathas too. It's a good one for Wraps, Rolls, Frankies and Sandwiches too. You will just love it. It's a bit tangy and sweet as well as absolutely flavourful with all the goodness of a loved Fruit.

Steps
- 1
Heat oil in a kadai. Add black cumin seeds at first. Let them splutter before you add curry leaves and garlic cloves. Saute on a low heat until it changes it's colour a bit and smells good.
- 2
Now is the time to add chopped segments of the grapefruit and the rest of the powdered spices too. Mix well and let it cook for a good 15 minutes on a low heat until done. Don't forget to cover it with a lid.
- 3
At last after it's ready, add some jaggery into it. Mix and it's perfectly done. Serve this tantalizing chutney alongside rotis and steamed rice. Enjoy! Yum!
- 4
It can be stored for about 1 week in the refrigerator and freeze it for a longer duration usage. Relish it at your mealtimes. It goes well with chapatis, parathas, upma, idlis, dosas, dhokla etc.
