Cut the chicken into small pieces and marinate with the marinade ingredients for 1 hour.

Cut the onion into small pieces. If using, cut the remaining half cucumber into pieces and set aside.

Before frying the chicken, coat it with cornstarch. After about 10 minutes, start frying until both sides are browned. Add minced garlic and onion, stir briefly, cover, and cook on medium-low heat for about 2-3 minutes.

Once the chicken is cooked through and the onion is soft, add cucumber and the seasoning sauce. Stir-fry for about 1 more minute, then it's done.
