Ground Rice and Sago pearls or Sabudana Kheer is one such absolutely delicious quickly done aftermeal Dessert on Weekends and special occasions. This one is an excellent Dessert, especially when you feel like having something sweet and that which can be whipped up in a jiffy. And this particular one fits this category of quickie Desserts to the core. Yes, Indeed! Because it's made amazingly quicker. The only thing is to soak the Sago Pearls or Sabudana for about 15 minutes or a little more. And that too with Milk simmering on the other side.
This not only cuts down the time but also the efforts. As simple as that. Nothing can beat it's taste. It just melts in mouth and is rich in Calcium too making it even more healthier and rich.

Bring milk to a rolling boil on a high heat at first and then simmer on a low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes with saffron strands and cardamom. Next add soaked and drained sabudana along with ground rice to the simmering milk.

Add sugar too. Mix well and let it cook on a low heat only. Also don't forget to add chopped pistachios and almonds. Sugar can be adjusted accordingly. After about 20-25 minutes of simmering, it's all done. The raw smell fades away and a pleasant sweet aroma fills up the place.

After done, enjoy it either warm or chilled according to your choice. Yum!
