Baking at Home: Savory Rolls with Imitation Crab

For this recipe's filling, I really like to eat garlic toast, so I wanted to make a deli bread like it! I think it's pretty close. ´ `v)
I learned how to make this at a part time job I used to have at a bakery.
(So it's kind of dated.)
- The egg glaze burns easily, so be careful.
- In order to make sure they all cook evenly, change their placement.
- I used only one package of cream cheese, but use as much as you like. For 6. Recipe by putimiko

Steps
- 1
Let the bread maker make the dough. After the first 8-10 minutes, add the butter and when the dough is done, break it into 6 portions. Make them round and while letting them sit for 15 minutes, be careful that they don't dry out.
- 2
Take the softened cream cheese and all the ingredients marked ● and mix them together well. Take the minced onions and the imitation crab cut into 1cm pieces, and while whisking, mix them into the mixture.
- 3
Now that the dough has rested, roll out the dough with a rolling pin and try to make it into a square shape.
- 4
Fold diagonally, and cut almost all the way into the center with a scraper without actually cutting the center.
- 5
When you open it up, it should look like this.
- 6
Next, carefully fold in the cut edge that you created, and let the dough rise again at 40°C. Preheat your oven to 190°C. Keep an eye on the dough till it starts to look like this.
- 7
Top with what you made in Step 2 and then lower the temp to around 170~180°C and bake for 15 minutes. Adjust the baking time depending on your oven.
- 8
The above picture shows it with baked with mayonnaise on top. You can also put cheese on it to make it more delicious. I put dried parsley on top after they were done baking.
