You can cut the frozen dough with a knife.

  • 85 gramsButter
  • 30 gramsSugar
  • 1Egg yolk
  • 3drops Vanilla extract
  • 110 grams●Cake flour
  • 25 grams●Almond flour
  • 1Granulated sugar

Steps

    Run the ● ingredients through a sifter. Leave out the butter until it reaches room temperature.

    When the butter develops a mayonnaise-like consistency, add the sugar and mix well.

    Add the egg yolk and mix well. Add the vanilla extract, too.

    Add the sifted ● ingredients and mix lightly with a rubber spatula.

    Once all of the flour has mixed in, form into one ball with your hands.

    Divide the dough into half. Roll into 20 cm sticks.

    Tip: Use cardboard cores from plastic wrap to form the dough.

    Chill for about an hour in the freezer.

  9. 9

    Sprinkle granulated sugar on the frozen dough. Slice 1 cm thick.

    Place on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes in preheated oven 320F/160C.

    It's very soft just after baking. It will be crispy chilled.
