  • 1 cupwheat
  • 4chopped cherry
  • 3 tspwhite oil
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • 1tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar

    In a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients (wheat, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, chopped cherry and vanilla essence).Add the oil and milk.Whisk well to form a smooth,lamp- free batter.The consistency should be similar to a thick pancake batter.

    Heat an appe pan on a low flame and grease each cavity with a few drops oil.Pour the mixture into a appe pan. Usually 15-20 minutes,or if a toothpick comes out clean,the cake is done.
