Awesome Stuffed Artchoke
Yummy taste of Italy.
Yes, it’s a little work but so worth it!
Steps
- 1
Cut top of artichoke to expose the inner flower
Cut bottom of artichoke to create a flat base
Cut pointed tips of leaves to a flat edge(removing any brown areas)
Boil water with a steamer basket
Add artichokes flower side down in the steamer basket and steam for 1 hour
(the softer the leaves the yummier at the finish…you’ll see!) - 2
Create your breadcrumb filling to personal taste
Once cool enough to handle remove the choke (COMPLETELY…VERY IMPORTANT)
I used my CUTCO Super Shears to trim leaves and my CUTCO ICE CREAM SCOOP and it removed the usual struggle I have with this awesome treat🧘🏽♀️ - 3
Now you are ready to stuff each and every leaf with your tasty breadcrumb personal creation
Fill the center of the artichoke as high as you like
Once completely stuffed and brimming with mixture,
Place on cookie sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake at 350 for 22 minutes - 4
You and those you cherish are ready to slide the amazing leaves through your teeth and experience a sensual secret from the gardens of Italy!
