I wanted to make a side dish using my son's favorite Chinese chives that could be served with rice or sake.

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1 packagesAtsuage
  • 200 gramsGround pork
  • 1 bunchChinese chives
  • 1 cloveGinger
  • 1 tsp◎Chicken soup stock granules
  • 2 tbsp◎Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp◎Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp◎Sake
  • 1 tsp◎Katakuriko
  • 100 ml◎Water
  • 1Sesame oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the atsuage into 1cm easy-to-eat pieces, cut the Chinese chives into 4 cm, and finely chop the ginger.

    Mix the ◎ ingredients together.

    Heat sesame oil in a pan, add the ground pork and sauté, add in the atsuage from step 1 after the meat has browned, add in the ginger, and sauté some more.

    Add the ◎ flavoring to step 3 after mixing, bring to a boil, let it thicken, add the Chinese chives, and boil again.

  5. 5

    Serve onto plates and enjoy!
