Ingredients

40 + minutes
for Tea Time
  • 1 cupwarm milk
  • 2 tablespoonSugar
  • 10 gramsinstant yeast
  • 3 cupsBread flour
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 2 tablespoonbutter
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoonmilk for brushing
  • 1 tablespoonButter for applying on scones
  • Some amount of dry flour

Steps

  1. 1

    First of all, take warm milk in a big bowl, add Sugar and dry yeast,mix with a spoon, cover it and give the rest to 5-7 minutes for proofing.
    Now sieve the bread flour along with salt into the proofing mixture and start binding the dough.
    Add turmeric powder, require milk and butter and knead soft dough.
    Cover the bowl with the cling film and give rest for at least 20 minutes.

    After proofing the dough,punch on it to Remove Extra air and knead again.
    Now make the equal size of the part and start rolling into the ball shape.
    Grease the oven tray and arrange the dough ball with the little space in between.
    Arrange all balls and again cover the tray for 10 minutes to proofing again.

    In the meantime pre heat the oven to 160 degrees.
    Now brush the balls with the milk and put the proofed balls tray into the oven and bake it at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
    After scones are ready, remove from the oven and apply butter on it and give rest to cool down.

    Remove from the tray.
    Sweet Scones are ready to eat.
    Make masala tea and Enjoy..😋👌
