Ingredients

15 min Instant Pot or 3 hours slow cooker
8 people
  1. 1 poundcooked chicken
  2. 1 (32 oz)carton chicken broth
  3. 3 (15.5 oz)cans cannellini beans
  4. 2 (4 oz)cans mild (or hot) chopped green chiles
  5. 1/2 cupssautéed white onions
  6. 2 clovesor 1 tbsp teaspoon chopped garlic
  7. 1 tbsplime juice
  8. 1/2 cupfresh cilantro
  9. 1 tspchili powder
  10. 1 tspturmeric
  11. 1/2 (1.3 oz)packet chili seasoning (use whole packet if not using chili and turmeric powders)
  12. 1 tsponion powder
  13. 1 tspgarlic powder
  14. Salt and pepper to taste
  15. 1/2 cupheavy cream, crema or milk

Cooking Instructions

15 min Instant Pot or 3 hours slow cooker
  1. 1

    Add cooked chicken and all other ingredients, except cream, to the slow cooker. Stir well.

    Cover and cook for 15 in Instant Pot Soup Setting, 3 hours on the high setting in the slow cooker, or 3 hours in the Instant Pot on the "Slow Cook" setting.

    Slowly stir while adding the cream or milk to the cooked chili.

    Serve with your favorite toppings and warm, crusty bread or toast! Enjoy 😉
