Take a fresh purple cabbage cut into small pieces,cut sambar onion and curry leaves keep ready.

Keep tawa on medium heat,add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal and chana dal, add curry leaves and onion,fry till golden colour.Then add chopped cabbage,and salt saute for some time.

Close with lid for five minutes. Cabbage will cook faster, add red chilli powder mix saute for two minutes,till raw smell leaves,add grated coconut,mix well. Super tasty purple cabbage subji is ready to serve.

Transfer to serving bowl.Enjoy the purple cabbage subji with hot rice and rotis.
