Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C). Finely chop the almonds using a blender or food processor. Spread the ground almonds evenly on a baking sheet.

Place the chopped almonds in the oven for about 8–10 minutes, until they are lightly toasted.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, cinnamon, liqueur, orange zest, and baking powder.

Once the almonds have cooled, mix them into the bowl. Pour the mixture into a baking pan and bake at 355°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the top is golden to your liking.

Dust with powdered sugar to decorate and enjoy.
