Ingredients

  • 2 cupsflour (sifted)
  • 41/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 tablespoonssugar
  • 2 cupsbran
  • 1/2 cupdates chopped
  • 1egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoonsmelted butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift together flour baking powder salt and sugar

  2. 2

    Add bran and dates

  3. 3

    Blend remaining mixture add butter

  4. 4

    Pour into greased loaf pan.

  5. 5

    Bake 1 hour at 375
