Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour (sifted)
  2. 41/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  3. 1 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1 tablespoonssugar
  5. 2 cupsbran
  6. 1/2 cupdates chopped
  7. 1egg beaten
  8. 2 tablespoonsmelted butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift together flour baking powder salt and sugar

  2. 2

    Add bran and dates

  3. 3

    Blend remaining mixture add butter

  4. 4

    Pour into greased loaf pan.

  5. 5

    Bake 1 hour at 375
