Beetroot - green peas curry

Mix coconut, poppy seed, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and black pepper in a mixer and make a paste by adding some water and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a cooker. When the oil is hot, add onion and saute it. Now add ginger-garlic paste and saute it.

Now add tomatoes and saute it for 2 minutes. Now add beetroot and green peas. Now add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder,coriander powder and garam masala add it.

Mix well. Now add coconut paste and saute for 2-3 minutes. Now add 1 1/2 bowls of water and cook for 3-4 whistles

Once the cooker cools down, the curry is ready. Add water if needed. Serve with plane rice or chapati.
