Steps

Wash and soak basmati rice for at least 30 min
- 2
Heat oil in a thick bottom kadhai. Add all the whole spices and cook till aroma releases in air.

Add onion and cook till golden brown.

Add ginger garlic chilli paste and cook for a minute. Add tomatoes and salt. Cook till tomatoes turn mushy.

Add all the vegetables and cook. Add cud and cook till oul separates.

Add all ground spices and add soaked rice. Add 2 cups of water and then cook on medium flame till water dries up and your tahri is ready.

Serve hot with ghee and garnish with coriander leaves.
