Avocado Rice Bowl with Garlic Sesame Sauce

The other day, I ate a simple Avocado Salad with my ‘Garlic Sesame Dressing’, and the Avocado was so yummy with the dressing. Today I made it into a rice bowl. I reduced the amount of Vinegar for this rice bowl. It was a very simply dish, but very filling and nutritious. You can add some salad vegetable such as Lettuce.

The other day, I ate a simple Avocado Salad with my ‘Garlic Sesame Dressing’, and the Avocado was so yummy with the dressing. Today I made it into a rice bowl. Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1Avocado
  • *Note: You can add some Lettuce
  • 1Egg *softly cooked, e.g. Onsen Tamago
    Onsen Tamago (Softly Cooked Egg)
  • 1serving warm Cooked Rice
  • Crispy Chilli Oil *optional
  • Garlic Sesame Sauce
  • 1small clove Garlic *grated
  • 1/2 tablespoonSugar
  • 1 tablespoonSoy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoonToasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 teaspoonRice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoonSesame Oil
  • Chilli Flakes as required

Steps

5 minutes
  1. 1

    Prepare Egg. Today I microwave it with some water until Egg White turned white. Softly Boiled Egg OR Poached Egg would be nice.

  2. 2

    Combine all the Sauce ingredients in a bowl. Cut Avocado into bite-size pieces, add to the sauce, and mix to combine.

  3. 3

    Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice and cover it with Avocado mixture, add the softly cooked Egg on top. Add some Crispy Chilli Oil if you have it.
