Take a pan, put white sesame seeds in it and roast them on low flame for 5-8 minutes till the aroma comes out, then turn off the gas otherwise it will burn. When the sesame seeds cool down, put them in a mixer and stir well. Add some olive oil to it and grind it well. Tahini is ready!

To make hummus - first of all soak the chickpeas overnight, then in the morning put it in the cooker, add a little salt along with water and cook for 5-7 whistles. Cook the chickpeas well.

Now put the chickpeas in a mixer jar. Add three spoons of tahini, olive oil, garlic, green chilli, lemon juice, roasted cumin and salt. Then make a smooth paste.

In case of water requirement, you can also add the remaining water of chickpea and make a smooth paste.

Take it out in a plate and add red chilli powder and olive oil on top. Your hummus is ready. You can also eat it by applying it on pita bread sandwich or serve hummus with falafal.
