Scratch Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Chop russet potatoes into small pieces close to the size of the Yukon yellows.
- 2
Wash your potatoes and add them to a large pot. Add cool water till potatoes are covered. Add garlic or garlic salt, cover, and boil for roughly 8-12minutes or till soft.
- 3
Poke with a fork to check tenderness. (Russet potatoes will probably cook faster I gauge it by when the skin starts to fall off they’re ready.) When at desired tenderness drain, & return to the pot.
- 4
Add sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, & garlic salt to the pot and mash everything together.
- 5
Add milk & Parmesan cheese and mix as desired to get the consistency you want. We like the potatoes to still have a little bit of chunk so we’ll leave some bigger pieces and only add about a 1/4 a cup of milk & 1/4 a cup of Parmesan cheese give or take.
- 6
Enjoy!
