Sweet Potato Tikki

Add the sweet potatoes to a pressure cook and cover with water and boil it on low flame Cook for 10 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are soft and tender. Remove the sweet potatoes from pressure cooker and place them onto a plate. Once cool enough to touch, remove the peel.

With a potato masher, mash the sweet potatoes well.

Add all spices,salt and minced ginger

Now add chopped onion and chopped coriander leaves.Mix well

Shape into medium size tikkis

Pan shallow fry the in 2 to 3 tablespoon oil or ghee till both the sides are well browned.

Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve Sweet Potato tikki with a chutney it ketchup.
