Black eyed peas in makhni gravy

Wash and soak black eyed peas in lukewarm water for 5-6 hours. Boil in a pressure cooker.

For gravy in a jar add tomato, cashew, ginger, chilli make a smooth paste. In a pan heat oil add hing, turmeric and red chilli powder put this gravy saute till oil separates. Add garam masala and kasuri methi.

Now add boiled black eyed peas. Add salt ketchup. Saute for 5-7 minutes on low flame.

Serve hot with roti, paratha Or rice.
