Green Bean Stew with a Paprika Twist
This stew is easy, delicious, and full of flavor. You can make it in no time. Enjoy it as a starter for lunch or as a light dinner.
Steps
- 1
Trim the ends off the green beans, cut them into pieces, and wash them. Peel and cut the potato into small chunks. Peel the onion and cut it into medium wedges.
- 2
Heat olive oil in a pressure cooker.
- 3
Add the chopped onion and sauté lightly for about 5 minutes. Add a tablespoon of paprika and stir to dissolve.
- 4
Add the green beans and potatoes. Cover with water, but don’t add too much so it doesn’t get too soupy. Add the vegetable bouillon cube.
- 5
Close the pressure cooker and continue cooking. Once it reaches pressure, cook on low heat for about 10-12 minutes, then turn off the heat. Let the pressure release naturally.
- 6
Meanwhile, make a quick sauté by peeling and finely chopping the garlic cloves, then frying them in olive oil.
- 7
Serve the stew onto plates using a slotted spoon to avoid too much broth. Top with a little of the garlic sauté and enjoy!
