I was born in Romania and I moved in Italy in my teenage years. Until then I remember many recipes that my grandmother use to make.

Clean the chicken livers, and let them rest

In a pan add 2 tbsp olive oil, the chopped onions and garlic (keep 1 clove of garlic for the end). Fry them for 5 mins until becoming soft.

Add the paprika, fresh herbs, the tomato sauce and the chicken stock. Let it cook for 10 mins.

Once 10 mins are gone, add the livers and adjust of salt and pepper and let it cook for another 20 mins.

Once the liver is cooked add the grated fresh garlic and cover the pan. Let it rest for 10 mins.
Serve with fresh baguette or polenta.
